The Importer The Importer is an application designed for ingesting an arbitrary number of asset files and/or metadata into the DAM Center (DC). There are three basic type of operations supported:
Upload assets without metadata.
Upload assets with metadata.
Set metadata on existing assets.
Assets can be anything supported by the DC. Metadata can be in the format of any of 3 these three types: Xml, Excel, or CSV.The upload operation can be set up to automatically replace existing assets automatically.
