The Exporter is an application designed for exporting assets (images, documents, videos, etc) and their meta data metadata (title, keywords, description, etc) from a DAM Center.
The Exporter exports assets and their meta data metadata to a folder on your computer.
The meta data metadata can be exported as one XML file per asset or one big Excel sheet for all the exported assets.
In order to export meta data metadata and assets, you must perform three steps:
- Ensure that you have a search, which retrieves the data, you want to export (see DC 5.2.0 Exporter Installation and and DC 5.2.0 Export configuration and output examples)
- Configure the Exporter.exe application (see DC 5.2.0 Application configuration)
- Run the Exporter.exe application.
