Before you can install the Digizuite™ DAM Center (DC), some things have to be in order. The following menu points describe the steps you have to make, to ensure yourself that your installation becomes the best one possible.
The Digizuite™ DAM Center installer requires that there are no other DAM Centers installed on the server already.
ASP.NET 4.6.2 framework or higher.
To get it do the following steps: 1. Access https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=53344 Optional: Change to your desired language by expanding "English" 2. Press Download and install. 3. After the installation is done, a server restart is required. |
Collation
Initially the database must be "SQL_Danish_Pref_CP1_CI_AS". |
Can be checked in the program named SQL Server (2016) Configuration Manager. Select SQL Server Services, and look for SQL Full-text Filter Daemon Launcher (MSSQLSERVER) If you can see it in the list, you fulfill this requirement. (like in the image below) |
TCP/IP must be enabled
Can also be checked in the program named SQL Server (2016) Configuration Manager. Select SQL Native Client 11.0 Configuration → Client Protocols. If it says TCP/IP is enabled, you fulfill the requirement. |
Server authentication must be SQL Server and Windows Authentication mode
Can be checked in the program named Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio. Right click on the server's name in the left side menu. Select Properties → Security. Choose the radio button SQL Server and Windows Authentication mode. |

(Optional) Remote Desktop Users (so you can login with the digibatch user)
To add the users to groups, do the following steps 1. Open the program Computer Management 2. Expand Local Users and Groups and select Groups. 3. Right click the groups and press Properties 4. Press Add, and type in the username digibatch 5. Press Check Names and then OK, and OK again 6. Repeat for the other group as well. |
