MM5.10 Audit trail (metadata)

Metadata audit trail is the track record of all metadata changes performed by users or the system. It is fully configurable which fields to audit and can be anything from title to upload date.

The audit trail can be accessed:

  • in the main view: by either clicking ‘Audit trail’ button or by selecting ‘More' on an asset card and then the option 'Audit trail'

     

     

  • in asset preview mode: by clicking the button ‘Audit trail’

     

The user will then be re-directed to ‘Audit logs’ view with a filter for the specified asset pre-selected.

 

Configuration

What metadata are subject to audit is fully configurable from ‘System tools’ in the DAM administration view. Navigate to ‘Metadata’, find the field you wish to include in the audit trail and put a checkmark under ‘Audit this field’. This is illustrated below:
