1 Requirements for Updating Digizuite™ DAM Center - DAM v4.8.0

Updating the Digizuite DAM Center (DC) from an older version requires the machine the of which the DC is running on has the following features/roles described below.

This is also required for making a new web-based installation, which is a more advanced mode for installing the DAM Center.

To have all these things installed, you can go to your DC's installation folder and access the folder named redist. If you run everything in the folder, you'll get all the below things installed automatically. NB. This needs to be on the application server

Optional: Change to desired language by expanding "English" 

Press Download and install

  • Microsoft® System CLR Types for SQL Server® 2008 R2 

Download

Expand Install instructions and scroll down to "Microsoft® System CLR Types for SQL Server® 2008 R2". Chose correct version for environment (most likely x64) and install.

 

  • Microsoft Visual C++ 2012 Redistributable (x64)

        • IIS 6 Management Compatibility

          • IIS 6 Management Compatibility (x)

  • Features (x - Can be named ".NET Framework 3.5 Features")

    • .NET Framework 3.5 Features

    • .NET Framework 3.5 (Includes .NET 2.0 and 3.0)

When done adding these, press Next and then Install.
