Users must only create a style once, and then it can be used in multiple portals and spaces.
To create or modify a portal style, select 'Brand Portals' from the top right settings menu.
Note! Only users with the roles ‘Can_configure_portals', ‘FileRepository_Upload', ‘FileRepository_Delete’ and ‘Editor_systemTools_config' will see the menu item and be able to configure the brand portals portals.
Below is an example of how a group of existing portal styless is shown (and note that new styles can be created).
Note! The global style is the style used by the Media Manager
For each portal style the following can be configured:
Logo tab
The top left logo on the page. We recommend using PNGs and SVGs up to 100 KB. The logo can be set for both the desktop view and mobile view.
Theme colors tab
There are multiple colors that can be set for each portal style. The listed colors are changed by clicking on the color and can be set using RGBA values or via the color selector UI.
Each color setting controls the color of the UI elements.
Examples:
Theme Color – the color used for highlighting UI elements like selected menu, tab, home icon, folder icons.
Icons and text – the text in the UI and the icons in for example menus
Top bar background colors – the dominant color in the top bar of the media manager
Fonts tab
Three headline fonts can be selected adjusting the UI accordingly. The same font can be used for all headlines or distinct fonts can be used.
To add a new font use “Manage fonts” available from the bottom of the tab and hereafter the font can be selected.
Both True Type Fonts (TTF) or Web Open Font Format (WOFF) can be used.
Asset card tab
When listing assets in the portal the asset card style is used.
Asset Card Layout
Either the original default card displaying several metadata fields or the new custom specific for portals cards where the asset is in focus can be selected.
Default vs custom with hover effect and with.
For custom cards there are a several settings controlling the layout of the card.
The settings depends on the desired design of the portal but also on the dominant types of assets.
If there is a mix of portrait and landscape images, then a square aspect ratio might be suitable. But if there are many videos then landscape might be better. If the space has many photos of people then a portrait aspect ratio might be the rights one.
The background color can be set for cases where the card is not completely filled by the asset.
