DFS 11.1 - Administration dashboard

The administration dashboard is a tool for administrators and developers, to help debugging, doing health checks and maintenance of the system.

Historically, the main reason why we've been assisting partners and developers has been due to settings being misconfigured. With this tool, developers will now be able to resolve a big part of these issues independently, without needing to consult with Digizuite.

The new tool can be accessed from the control panel.

The tool consists of these areas:

• Main
  On the main page you can see the current version of DAM for Sitecore you are running.
  On the right side of the page, you'll see a list of system health checks, which tells you whether the system has found errors.

• Data Cache
  Here you can inspect what has been cached.

• Image Cache
  Inspect image cache. With this tool, you can see what is in the cache on the file system.

• Asset Metadata Viewer
  Inspect asset metadata. This tool will lookup the requested asset ID in master and web, and make a comparison.

• Synchronization
  Here you have different tools helping synchronizing assets from Digizuite DAM. You can start a full sync of all the assets, which will run as a Sitecore job. Or you can sync specific assets.

• Digizuite Integration
  From here you can manage all DFS integration endpoints that have been set up in the Digizuite.

• Broken links
  This tool look into the broken link database, at find all DAM for Sitecore related links that are broken. From this UI you can fix broken links.
